When a machine approaches a worker or a worker approaches a machine the warning zone will activate in the machine. At the same time the worker tag will vibrate and sound a warning buzzer, alerting the worker to the presence of the machine. This will give the worker an opportunity to clear the warning zone before the machine enters the danger (red) zone, a situation requiring the machine to stop.
That is the standard setup for the worker tag. However there are certain workplaces where the workers are consistently working in areas where the warning zone would be breached almost continuously. In these type of work environments it is possible to only alarm both the machine and worker tags when the danger zone is breached.
The system can be configured to suit most every application.
Worker tags can have external or internal battery packs.
